The Women in Spine Education (WISE) Meeting returns in 2026 for a one-and-a-half day event dedicated to collaboration, education and professional development in spinal surgery.
Open to trainees and consultants from both Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery, the meeting welcomes anyone with an interest in developing a career in spine surgery. Whether you are considering the specialty, currently undertaking training or are an established spinal surgeon, WISE provides an inclusive environment to learn from leading experts, share experiences and build lasting professional networks.
The 2026 programme will explore how collaboration across research, clinical practice, education and multidisciplinary care can improve patient outcomes while supporting the development of the future spine workforce. Delegates will hear from an outstanding faculty of surgeons, researchers and allied professionals, with sessions covering translational research, clinical trials, fragility fractures, spine trauma in the elderly, spinal cord injury, spinal tumours, chronic back pain, training pathways and surgeon wellbeing.
